The Custom LED "Magic Rainbow" is changing the face of customization as we know it!  This lighting system is sure to set your prized possession apart from the rest!

The Custom LED "Magic Rainbow" is a user programmable RGB LED based accent lighting system capable of producing 960 individual colors and thousands of shades of white.

The Custom LED Magic Rainbow Accent LED Lighting System achieves its immense color range By utilizing PWM (pulse width modulation) to control the brightness individually of the red, green and blue ultra-bright LEDs in the LED modules.  The projected light color from the LED modules is combination of these primary colors.

The system is comprised of two key components: the Magic Rainbow Control Module, and the Magic Rainbow LED Modules.

The Magic Rainbow Control Module

 

The Magic Rainbow Control Module is the brains of the operation.  Utilizing the 12 switch user programming interface (blue dip switches shown in picture above), one can customize the lighting systems output to suit your personal taste.  Some of the adjustments are: speed, color modes and individual colors.

  • Speed: fast, slow or automatic mode.  Automatic mode speeds up and slows down automatically over time between 20 different speeds.  Manual fast/slow isolates the fastest 4 and slowest 4 speeds.
  • Color Mode: pure color mode, white color mode, or automatic mode.  In automatic mode, the system will automatically cycle through pure color mode and white color mode.  Pure color mode produces a total of 960 distinct colors; whereas white mode produces thousands of shades of white.  One can select between pure color mode only or white color mode only or fully automatic.
  • Pure Color Mode: the pure color mode has two distinct output types - color shift and color jump.  In color shift mode, the light produced shifts smoothly though the spectrum from one color to the next randomly chosen color.  In color jump mode, the light produced abruptly changes to the next randomly chosen color.
  • Individual Color Settings: the user can select which main colors of the spectrum are to be displayed - red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet.  Any combination of colors may be chosen.  As the system randomly chooses the next color to display, it will only choose from the colors that have been selected by the user.  This way, if you have a color themed bike, you can choose the color(s) that compliment it best!

Control Module Features:

  • Super compact size for easy mounting/storage on motorcycle (3" x 0.7" x 1.6")
  • Produces 960 different distinct colors, and thousands of shades of white.
  • Simple 12 switch program interface to select/control different speeds, color changing modes, white mode, and individually select which 6 main colors, or combination of colors to display (IE: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet).  Each main color has various shades which comprises the 960 colors.
  • Programming randomly chooses between selected programs/colors and speed to create unique color patterns each time.
  • Very low power consumption; an average of 20 mA per led module in pure color mode, and 30 mA per led module in white mode.  An average motorcycle battery will power 20 led modules for well over 24 hours!
  • Powers up to 20 led modules! (boosters available for more modules).
  • Gold plated output connections (corrosion free).


The Magic Rainbow LED Module

 

The Magic Rainbow LED Modules "daisy-chain" one to the next for simple wiring.  Up to 20 LED Modules can be powered by a single Control Module!  Special high-temperature and solvent resistant cabling with gold plated locking connectors are provided with each LED module for a permanent trouble free installation. 

The Magic Rainbow LED Modules mount to bodywork and other components using high strength and high temperature double sided adhesive.  The LED modules are small enough (2" x 0.86" x 0.5" L x W x D) to fit almost anywhere on the motorcycle! 

The idea is to mount the LED modules out of view so that only the projected light shines on engine surfaces, header pipes, suspension components, swing arms, wheels, fairings and even the ground!

Each LED Module connected to a Control Module will produce the exact same light output as the next.  Up to 20 LED modules can be powered off of one Control Module!
