I love this light (2008-2012 Ninja 250R Blaster-X)! Its the only one out there that I've found that is a true Plug-n-play kit. no splicing required for anything. I bought the Strobe switch as well and its a pretty neat feature too.

The prior owner removed the fender/stock turn signals from my 08 CBR1000 and installed dinky LED lights that I found to be dangerous. I bought an integrated led tail light for my ducati 1198s Corse. I received the parcel in just few days, and this was shipped from America to Malta (Europe) more than 6hours difference in day light saving. I am no electrician and you don't have to be. The unit is plug_and_play. The exact OEM connectors are used. When I connected the Unit the indicators where blinking to fast, some people do like it that way but I like it to blink at a slower rate. I knew from the custom led website that if I buy the load equalizer 2 from them the indicators will blink slower. I contacted Jon by using the email sales@customled.com and he replied instantly. I also asked him a question regarding the electricity of a ducati irrelevant of the custom led unit, which he could have just not replied, but he did and I really appreciate it. The second parcel arrived in around 4days. It had the load equalizer 2 and the programming switch. Apart from the great product, service and very reasonable price and a really bright mind blowing Light that comes out from the LED unit I cannot forget not to mention the packing. The unit was packed in two boxes one larger than the other, rapped in bubble wraps and foam around it, same for the second parcel. I taught that I would receive just a small envelop that contains the 2 small units, and they are not object that can break. Thank you custom Led

This unit (elfr-1 flasher relay) really works! After putting led signals on my KZ 1000, all I could get was light; and no flash. I hard wired the elfr-1 relay where the old flasher unit went, and voila! it works. The best part is that I did not have to spend a bunch of money to make it happen.

I ordered some wicked strobes and they are very compact and emit super intense light 7 different modulation patterns and a momentary ground in line toggle switch changes the strobes to what you like! I also needed a special set of super bright LEDS that would operate with variable brightness and pulse fast or slow and even bright to dim and be controlled by a small reliable multifunction device. CUSTOM LED designed an outstanding setup using their super bight LED modules and it looks awesome. You can't buy off the shelf what I needed but CUSTOM LED provided just what I needed and it works great. HEY Jon I was wondering if you could offer either a slide on front cover to protect the WICKED strobes or a flip cover that would work too!

I recently purchased the 2005-2009 Suzuki Boulevard M50 Integrated LED Tail Light and Stage II Load Equalizers. I ordered a Blaster X taillight over the weekend, and was pleased to see it waiting for me when I arrived home on Wednesday. My CBR1000RR came with another company's taillight, which I was not satisfied with- not the case with the new taillight! Not only was it at least twice as bright, the Blaster X modulation makes it a much better component. Installation took no time at all, and the fit and finish was excellent- thank you!

I just finished the install, and it was extremely easy, everything worked perfectly! After the install, I started up the bike, and my god!! The tail light is so bright, and it looks great! Hi I recently purchased and installed your blaster package on my 08 raider I also fabricated and installed an under the light license plate bracket this required removal of the beaver tail and rear signal lights just this cleaned up the back of the bike tremendously and I do recommend not replacing the flasher it does make you more visible thank you very much you have a great product.

I own a '06 Yamaha Warrior and I just recently purchased/installed an integrated tail light from Custom LED. There are a few companies out there that make a tail light for my bike but none offer a better EVERYthing application. The light output (of the Custom LED unit) is at least 2 to 3x brighter than oem. The brake alert feature is amazing and makes riding that much safer. Install was straight forward PLUG & PLAY. A TWO year warranty.... Even the strobe mode feature is fun!

I just got a brand new 600RR and am VERY picky about how my bike looks. When I purchased the bike I was disappointed to discover how poor the light quality was from the stock tail light. After all, as bike riders, the tail light is all we have to help others to see us. I purchased the (600rr) replacement taillight from Custom LED and was very impressed to find out it was exactly what they claimed it to be. The light looks exactly like it belongs on my bike, was very easy to install, and most of all, the light output is super bright. It totally blows the factory unit out of the water. For sure, a big thumbs up on this product!

I recently installed a new tail light with integrated rear signals on my 08 R1 and want thought I'd do a quick review for anyone thinking of getting one. The unit I have is the Blaster-X, made in the U.S.A. by Custom LED.
Upon opening the box, which was sized perfectly so the piece didn't get tossed around inside, I could see that the tail light was surrounded by packing peanuts, offering even more protection. I removed the packing material and pulled the tail light out of the box. It was wrapped in a secure, heat sealed plastic bag. All wiring was neatly bundled and held together by a small rubber band. Also included in the box were the installation instructions, a decal, and a business card.
Before I installed the new one, I compared it to the OEM tail light. Appearance wise, they look identical. Then I broke out the calipers and started taking some measurements to see how close they were in actual dimension. Why did I do this, you may ask? Simply because the tail light on my bike, and many other sportbikes, is surrounded by bodywork and other trim pieces. Therefore, the fit of the new tail light must be identical to that of the OEM piece. My bike's OEM tail light and the one made by Custom LED were an exact match in all dimensions I checked.
The wiring on the Custom LED piece uses OEM connectors, making hook up a breeze. Another point worth noting is the length of the wiring that Custom LED uses. It's not too long, which could cause headaches trying to stuff excess wire in an already small area under the passenger seat. It's also not too short, causing you to tug and force the connections together, putting undo strain on them, especially once all of the bodywork is reassembled around the new tail light. The wiring that runs between the subframe and the OEM undertail is sheathed so it slides into place easily with very little coaxing, making fishing the connector out from between the subframe and the OEM undertail easy.
Once the new tail light is installed in place of the OEM unit, all that was left to do was connect the signals and the main tail light connector. Again, OEM style connectors were used so it was very easy. All connections went together with a solid 'snap.' After zip tying the signal wires together, to get them out of the way of the tool kit (once put back in), it was time to turn the key and see what happens.
When the key is first turned to ON, the tail light will blink 3 times. Afterwards it remains on just like the OEM tail light. I tested the turn signals first. When I flipped the signal switch, I could see that the signals worked properly and were flashing in unison. The bright amber turn signal LEDs in the tail light are very bright and easily distinguished from the red tail light LEDs. This holds true for both the Left and Right signals. I noticed that the signals were blinking faster than they did before. However, this was expected since I did not change out the flasher relay. This doesn't bother me, as I think it actually not only looks better, but seems more visible. However, if this bothers you and you want them to blink at the same rate they did before, just simply replace the OEM flasher relay with one from Custom LED. The brake light operates as expected as well. When I first tapped the brakes (front or rear) the tail light blinks 3 times rather quickly and then resumes to a constant lit condition as long as the brakes are applied, just like the OEM tail light. When the brakes are released, the brake light goes off and normal tail light operation resumes. Again, just like the OEM tail light.
I then started putting the OEM tail back on. This is where the excellent fit and finish of the Custom LED piece comes into play. Even though I checked several dimensions earlier, it's still no substitute for the actual install. As expected, the tail section went right on without a problem. Everything fit together perfectly.
In summary, I'm very happy with this new piece. I called Custom LED to tell them so and was pleasantly surprised to speak with the man who builds the tail lights himself. He indicated that he, along with another gentleman, build all of the Custom LED tail lights by hand. Every. Single. One. It was also nice to have him listen to me, as a customer as well as a fellow rider. While looking at Custom LED's site, I noticed the following, which I thought was way more than what most places do:
"We understand that the reputation of E-mail service and support has been hurt by overwhelmed companies staffed by unsuitable "technicians," however; at Custom LED, the OWNER and Chief Engineer answers all E-mails. You can be sure you are going to receive the best service and support possible at Custom LED."
As sportbike riders, we tend to spend a fair amount of money on our bikes. The last thing I wanted to do was to put a cheap looking tail light on a classy, dead sexy bike like my 08 R1. If you're considering this mod for your bike, I don't think you'll be happy with an integrated tail light from anyone else but Custom LED. It's that nice.

I own a 09 Cbr600rr and decided to try the Custom LED integrated taillight. All other taillights required modification to my bike under the tail where you could barely even see it or illegal far below the exhaust. I installed the retrofit LED board into my 08 star raider, had to cut oem lens & put in board, light worked great & was a hit with my riding friends, unfortunately, i did not seal the lens 100% the board got wet & did not function correctly, sent it to jon at custom LED, jon would have repaired the light for free, (even i owned it for a year & a half) or update to the new complete plug & play unit, I went for the new unit, was sent out quickly, installed quickly with oem connectors & WOW what a light, not only is the light brighter but also has, programing options that the old one did not, & is a better looking unit, for that clean look of the raider, great product & value thanks JON.

Installed the Ducati 848 plug and play integrated tail light today on my 2008 848 without a hitch and it fit perfectly. I didn't get a chance to install the flash relay or switch just yet (this weekend). This is the best product out there! I previously had CA's integrated tail light and had many complaints that no one could see me braking or see my turn signals in broad daylight. Custom LED's Blaster-X unit compared to CA's is like a night and day difference. I wanted to test to see how bright it was during the day and had my brother be a guinea pig and I flashed the brake w/strobe and he said he got blinded by how bright it was. Shipping was quick and Jon offered me any help that I would need. My overall experience on a scale from 1 to 10 is a 10. I will have a video comparison coming up soon.

Here is my story ....,I own 2009 Yamaha r1 I bought one of the cheap led tail lights on eBay for $75 and my headache started. I had to splice the wires even when it said plug and play. the blinkers were acting up, wasted my whole Saturday so I decide to return it and I posted on r1 forum that I need help and finally someone directed me to get the custom led blaster-x. so since I had the bike apart already I ordered my light on Sunday nite. by Tuesday the light came in and I was praying To God please the this one work. I open the box rite away I notice it was really plug and play to oem harness before I did anything I plug it in and turn it on and was I happy . So next I install it in the bike. it fits in like oem and it's in nice and tight not like the cheap eBay one that I bought for $75. I absolutely love the blaster x and I will recommend it to anybody if anybody has any questions just email me xbajbusx@aol.com. the blaster x is great and you can program it too and has lots of option but I just left it how it came stock it does the job for me here is little video of the Light on my r1 enjoy.

I received my integrated tail light last week and I got to install it on Friday. I must say it was a BREEZE to install it on my 2009 Raider. It was truly PLUG -n- PLAY. I did have to re-route the wires a bit to make it all work but it was not a hard install at all. When finished it looks GREAT!!! The lights are VERY bright and the turn signals look fantastic. The fact that they blink a bit faster is actually good because it makes you more noticeable. I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone who has a Yamaha Raider. Now, I have to eliminate the beaver tail this weekend, but even with just the rear lollipops gone there is such a huge difference. Thank you so much CustomLED for making such a well designed high quality product!!

I had installed an integrated taillight with built-in resistors and then installed flushmount turn signals in the front. with the flush mounts in front all the turn signals flashed ridiculously fast so i bought the elfr-1 led flasher relay and it worked perfect and installed in less than 5 minutes.

I purchased a wicked strobe for my 08 Nytro MTX and wired it to my brake light and placed the light just below my seat- facing so snowmobiles behind me can see when I apply my brake. Everyone who I've ridden with so far thinks that it's a really great idea and they like the fact that they can now see ( in the dark) when I apply the brake, going into corners, etc. The strobe gives off more than enough light, where the stock snowmobiles are not seen very well due to the wash from the flying snow. I'm going to buy another one and place it on my wife's sled next. It's a great product and I'd like to see more of these on other sleds in the future.

Just installed my integrated Blaster-X Tail Light in my 2008 ZX10R and i must say it was worth the wait! The new black background (still with a clear lens of course) gives this taillight the look of a smoked lens without any sacrifice of performance, so if you are running a stock taillight or bought a cheap one off E-Bay, throw it away and buy Custom LED. I could keep going on and on about how this taillight crushes any other but I'll leave it with this... Go ahead and try to find a taillight that fits better, looks better, and is brighter, or you could stop wasting you time and buy Custom LED today!!!

I installed LED flush mount front signals and an integrated tailight/signal rear light on both of my Honda CBRs and, after installing your relay, it instantly cured the erratic flash rate. Installation is as simple as tying your shoes. It takes more time to remove the body panels than it does to install the relay. AWESOME product !!!

I was actually given an integrated turn signal from Custom LED for my 2009 Yamaha R1. When I installed it, I loved the way the integrated blinker looked better than any other integrated blinkers on the market today. Then, when I rode to a stunt show with a few friends, we parked our bikes and everyone that rode with us kept saying that my tail light was the brightest they had ever seen! Everyone we met there were crowded around my bike and looking at how bright it was! I am glad it's that bright because the more brightness, the better people can see me! I've got to say you?ve got a great product here. I was looking for something to replace the tail lights on the hotbodies undertail setup for my 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 750 because they were so dim that it was dangerous. I came across your website, ordered the 1.85 red/yellow units with the 4 wire conversion and hoped for the best. The modules fit perfectly in the back of the existing housings that the original hotbodies ones were in. I just had to break original units out of the back of the housings, glue in your modules, and wire them up? The difference in brightness and visibility is incredible, and should go a long way to prevent me from winding up as a hood ornament on some car!

Well, what can I say!.. CustomLED were a breath of fresh air to me! They deisgned a total one-off to my own specifiation. It really finished the bike off. I would recommend acumen no load relays. they are totally electronic and sort out ANY flasher problems on any lights!!!.

Dear Custom LED, I've made an order one week ago and arrive very fast in ITALY. I decided to use into a YamaHa FZ6-N with OEM Turnlight with led bulbs, in detail 3 led for each bulb. With this flash relays the flasher is very well and the hazard is ok in every bulbs at the same time. I decide to use CustomLED, because in ITALY this item isn't sell or the few shop make expensive cost. Thanks for all and with your electronic led flasher relay the life is more easy.
