The Smart Triple Play Run Brake Turn control module converts rear turn signal lamps to operate as run, brake and turn signals in the most effective way possible. This Run Brake Turn module supports motorcycles with or without a center tail light! That means you can have only two lamps in the rear of your motorcycle and have effective signaling for running light, brake light and turn signals.
Advanced features include: adjustable running light brightness to match outer turn signals to center tail light, full-contrast blinker function (from full off to full bright), and a 10-pattern brake modulator that can strobe the brake light function of the center light, turn signals, or both. This run brake turn control module works with LED lamps or incandescent lamps.
This type of Brake Light Modulation has been a huge success with our Brake Alert feature found in our Blaster-X line of integrated tail lights. For those who do not have our Blaster-X tail light, and want to increase their brake light visibility, this Universal brake light flasher is certainly for you!

Installation
The Universal Smart Triple Play is installed on your motorcycle according to the detailed instructions below.
There may be additional accessories required to correct alarm, cruise-control, ABS and CANbus problems on your motorcycle. These accessories could not be built into the Smart Triple Play, and are generally optional and specific to different customers needs, so they are sold separately.
Most applications will require either replacing the flasher relay with one of our ELFR electronic LED flasher relays, if compatible, or using a properly sized load equalizer. Generally speaking, replacing the flasher relay with our ELFR-1 Electronic LED Flasher Relay is the best way to maintain the stock blink rate on any compatible motorcycle (why do I need to do this?), however some motorcycles will require the use of our 25 Watt Load Equalizers instead because of flasher relay incompatibility with our ELFR-1.
We have done extensive testing to ensure compatibility with a majority of motorcycles on the market - however if a problem arises, please contact us for a solution. V1 (previous model)
V1 is the previous-generation Smart Triple Play, part number GEN-SMART-TPU-UNV, brand new in its original Custom Dynamics retail package. It has been replaced by the current V2 (CD-STP-UNV).
Lets your two rear turn signals work as running lights, brake lights and turn signals. For 12 V motorcycles with single-intensity rear turn signals.
Maximum load: 27 W per channel (left turn, right turn and brake outputs).
Programmable running-light brightness: a rotary dial from 0 (dimmest) to 9 (brightest) matches your turn signals to your taillight.
10 selectable brake flash / strobe patterns. Patterns 0-3 work with LED or incandescent bulbs; patterns 4-9 are LED only.
Two switches choose where the pattern runs: all three rear lights, the rear turn signals only, the center light only, or no flashing.
Smart function: if a turn signal is on when you brake, only the center light flashes.
Universal: no model-specific plugs. Installs with the attached Posi-Tap and Posi-Lock connectors.

We ship worldwide with USPS, UPS and DHL. Import duties, taxes and carrier fees may be charged at delivery and are the recipient's responsibility; we don't collect them at checkout.
A tracking number is emailed on the same day that your order ships.
Unused items in as-shipped condition (sealed bags unopened) can be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund of the item price. Returns that need inspection carry a restocking fee (5–20% or more, depending on the product), and opened or installed items may not be eligible. Shipping charges aren't refunded.
