The Custom LED 25-Watt Load Equalizer (formerly known as our Stage II Load Equalizer) may be for you if your OEM turn signal lamps are 20 to 30 Watts each, and the following matches your situation after changing them:
- the blinkers work but blink faster than stock
- the blinkers do not blink at all - either they turn on and stay on solid or they don't even come on at all
- the left and right directional signals illuminate at the same time when activated (4-way blink problem)
Our 25-Watt Load Equalizer is basically a 25 Watt power sink that will make the OEM flasher relay think your stock turn signal bulbs are still there! This means, if you install our 25-Watt Load Equalizer in each blinker location that there was a 20 to 30 Watt OEM incandescent turn signal lamp - that has been replaced by an LED lamp - your blinkers will blink normally.
Our 25-Watt Load Equalizer is enclosed in a water tight housing that can be mounted anywhere on the bike. Our Load Equalizer is also perfect for automobile applications that have a dedicated turn signal circuit (not shared with the brake light for example. If shared, you will need our Heavy Duty 25-Watt Load Equalizers instead).
Our Load Equalizer couldn't be easier to install! The device is small and connects to the turn signal wires only. Your order will come with detailed instructions and simple tap connectors that do not require any cutting of the factory wiring!
Our Load Equalizers are over-designed and over-sized for excellent heat capacity. They will not get too hot under normal operation. You wont have any overheating problems with our products!
In general, you will need one Load Equalizer for each stock blinker bulb you removed or replaced with LEDs or smaller incandescent bulbs. You will need one Load Equalizer for each side, therefore orders are automatically placed in pairs.

I purchased these to correct the flash rate when I converted to LED blinkers on my 2016 Honda Africa Twin, and they were just the ticket. The simple cut wire leads allowed for easy adaptation using OE connectors for install (personally don’t like using Scotch-locks). They function flawlessly, but as with any load equalizer they can heat up if used for any decent amount of time. Under normal conditions, it shouldn’t be an issue. The CRF1000L does have a unique characteristic, in that the front signals are only two-wire but still function as running lights during normal operation. The way this is accomplished is via a digital flasher relay providing a 28% PWM signal to the front blinkers normally, and switching to a 0%/100% alternating signal when the turn signal switch is activated. This causes the front two load equalizers to maintain some temperature (fluctuating, but +100 degrees F) at all times. We’ll see what sort of effect this constant 28% duty cycle will have on them long term, but thus far they’ve been just fine. Great product from Custom LEDs!
Load Equalizers 25 watt
I had purchased 2 pair for 2 different problems. Both motorcycles were big twins that we used integrated tail lights to delete the rear turn signals. One had a hyperflash problem and the other had a no flash problem. Thanks to Custom LED we have 2 integrated tail lights that now work properly. I would definitely purchase again and recommend this product and company to anyone in the market for these.

Stage 2 Load Equalizer
haven't installed it yet. But will give a review after I've installed it.
I installed these when I added led lights to my ruckus. The equalizer tapped right in with no splicing or soldering needed and no my turn signals flash just as they should.
